Join the Women’s Fund Family of Funds!
The Women’s Fund has several different components that support the wide range of work needed to help improve the opportunities for women and girls in our community:
Economic Security Initiative Fund – a 1/1 matching fund that supports programs improving the overall economic status of women/girls including job training, childcare and business skills. Match provided by the Charlotte R. Schmidlapp Fund.
Developing Women Leaders Fund – supports the findings from PULSE: A Study on the Status of Women and Girls in Greater Cincinnati, in which women’s leadership opportunities and training programs were identified as critical needs. The funds support the creation and execution of a cohesive strategy for leadership development.
Voices of Leadership – named in honor of Dr. Erin Talbot McNeil, this fund supports the operations and work of the women’s fund. Dr. McNeill lived her life as a voice for those who are voiceless and the Voices of Leadership campaign lays the groundwork for The Women’s Fund to further its role as a voice for women and girls in the Tristate.
Women’s Fund Endowment – supports the complete spectrum of issues identified in the Women’s Fund Agenda for the Future: Close the Gap; Grow Strong Girls; Develop Women Leaders; Gender Research.
BPW Scholarship Fund - Established by the Cincinnati Chapter of Business and Professional Women in 1999 when they closed the local office. It assists women aged 25 or older who are starting or returning to school for an associate or baccalaureate degree at an accredited regional school. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and potential, financial need, and the quality of the application.
